Along with 1998 Viper GTS the '98 RT/10 gained the second-generation airbags, passenger airbag switch and lighter exhaust manifolds, saving 11 kg (24 pounds). From this year the hood updated to be same as GTS with NACA duct. The interior color accents were retired as well as blue exterior color which was replaced by new Viper Bright Silver. The only other color available was red. Pricing now stood at $64000 ($66500 for the GTS).
