"The Mexico Commission" is Singer’s fourth car and the first built on a Porsche 964 chassis. Previous cars (Nebraska, Texas) were based on early 1980s Carrera models. Mexico also marked the switch to Cosworth engines — prior to that, Singer used powerplants from the British firm Ninemeister. Another key innovation was the introduction of carbon‑fibre body panels supplied by Aria Group. From this car onward, the “964 + Cosworth + Aria” formula became the standard for all subsequent Classic Study models.
